MEET THE TEAM
CAMP DIRECTOR: NABIL MURAD
Coach Nabil Murad is currently in his fourth season with Gmunden Swans in Austria. Coach Murad is the Youth Sports Director and Head Coach of the U19 and U16 teams. He is also the Head Coach of the Austrian U16 Men’s National Team. Prior to coaching in Austria, Coach Murad worked with various clubs and organisations in Ireland, including Regional Teams, Academies and National Teams. Murad has also coached basketball professionally in the United Kingdom and United States.
LEAD COACH: PUFF SUMMERS
Coach Puff Summers is back for his third season with Rend Skills Camp. Coach Summers brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a player, a skills trainer, and as a basketball coach. Coach Summers currently plays with Templeogue Basketball Club in the Irish Superleague, in addition to being the Assistant Coach with the Irish Senior Men’s Team.
CAMP COACH: HILLARY NETSIYANWA
We’re delighted to announce that Coach Hillary Netsiyanwa will be back for this third camp with us this coming summer. Hillary always bring tonne of passion and energy into everything that he does. Hillary currently plays with Éanna Premier League in addition to coaching DBS Men’s Team.
CAMP COACH: CHRIS McNAIRNEY
Coach Chris McNairney has been with us from the start. He is dedicated to helping players learn the game and he is able to teach the game in a way few coaches do. Not only here to teach, Coach McNairney is always eager to learn too. Chris currently plays with Dublin Lions Division 2 Mens and coaches Dublin Lions U16.
CAMP COACH: KATE O’FLAHERTY
Coach Kate O’Flaherty is in her first season playing with Superleague outfit, Liffey Celtics. An outstanding player, Kate approaches coaching with the same excellence that she does playing. Kate is currently the video analyst with the Irish U20 womens National Team.
SPORTS PSYCH: AOIFE CALLAGHAN
Aoife Callaghan joined the team over the summer of 2019, and made an immediate impact in the classroom sessions, leading the campers through the Sports Psychology Workshops. We’re delighted that Aoife is back again with the team as the value and experience she adds is invaluable to our vision.
OPERATIONS MANAGER: DAVID DORAN
David Doran is invaluable to the team as he is the guys running behind the scenes and makes sure that everything is working and on time. David ensures that the coaches and players are where they are supposed to be when they’re supposed to be there. In addition, David is ready to jump in and fill in wherever he is needed.
